“All joking aside, words cannot express how much i love you fuckers.”

A moment of sincerity from Boss. I totally agree with the sentiment.

I’ve been saving this PostSecret. It’s dragalicious.

Though, personally, i don’t so much agree. For one thing i do have a penis, so there! For another, though, i’m not that fond of it. I’m getting over it, but my first reaction when i got it was to drop it and go “eww.” Actually, that was the first thing i did once i opened it. My first reaction was “heh, heh, i got my package in the mail, heh, heh.” Anyway, i suppose that’s a testament to the accuracy of the soft pack - that is much the reaction i have to the real thing (i have also heard from people who have much more appreciation for penes that the soft pack really is a damn good fakey). Also, it’s pink. Like, kinda skin pink, but it’s a rather icky color - they were out of pasty-ass-white that might have matched. But i am getting used to it. And, while i don’t like touching it, i do like wearing it (while i’m in drag) because it really does make a difference. It is completely different from just stuffing with a sock or something, which pretty much only serves to make a bulge; the packy actually affects, a bit, the way i walk, and i understand guys’ rearranging now. Overall, like any good costume, it helps you just get in character a little better.

A few weeks back i finally made myself something of a packing strap. Now, i could do without one - boxer briefs keep it in place pretty well (and i don’t wear baggy pants) - but every time i went to the bathroom it would fall out. Which is kind of funny, really, but also freaking annoying. Now i’ve sewed some straps on a pair of underwear, and my junk stays put. Yay!

i’m a drinker not a fighterOther notes on kingly fashion: thanks to Bouncer, i now have a zippo! Indeed, we all have king zippo’s in nifty little zippo pouches now. I’m gonna have to get a bit better at wielding mine, but it’s pretty freaking sweet. Also, i want this t-shirt. It’s perfect for him.

I’ve run across some handy blogs for men’s fashion tips (etc.). Kinowear is a pretty good place for general younger-metro-fashion info - my favorite so far is on how to fold a pocket square - despite that i’d think the authors were fucking pretentious assholes if i met them. The Art of Manliness i like quite a bit. It’s much more old-fashioned and courteous, and has a broader range of topics (rather than the “look good so you’ll get laid” focus of Kinowear…not that that’s a bad goal). Not only stylish fashion, but also “The Mechanics of the Man Hug” and “Write a Love Letter Like a Soldier” for a few of my favorites. I highly recommend it to any drag kings, butches, transmen, people who find gender interesting. Oh, and men too.
